Enter Narnia
The plot line of the Narnia movie is taken directly from the Bible itself, specifically the accounts of Jesus' life. The movie's main character, Aslan (the Lion-king), was developed directly from Jesus (the Lion of Judah).
Both Aslan and Jesus have a similar mission: to rescue a friend whose life is in danger--but they must pay the ultimate cost--their lives. Once you watch the film, you'll hopefully see it clarifies the main theme of the Bible. That is: God loves you and created you to have a relationship with Him, but you are separated from Him because of your destructive acts called sin. Sin demands a price--death--and so Christ was sent (on His mission) to save you. To fulfill your debt, He willingly died in your place.
Jesus' sacrificial death can save you, and His resurrection restore you to life. When you're ready to enter His world...just admit your need, put your trust in Him...and tell Him.
Dear King Jesus,
I know I am a sinner and that I fall short of Your perfect standard. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe You are God's Son, and that You willingly died on a cross and rose again to secure my forgiveness and give me a wonderful, new eternal life with You. Amen.
