ATS is excited that you have chosen to join us as a Tract User.
But, many times people aren't sure how to best use tracts, so it
never becomes a habit for them. ATS has provided a number of resources
that will encourage and challenge you to use tracts effectively.
Tips for using Gospel tracts
BE PRUDENT:
P
ray before giving out tracts. R
ead each tract and know it well. Use
the appropriate tract. Don't
force tracts on people. Establish
a relationship with recipients. Never
Give Up! Don't get discouraged. Teach
others to pass tracts along.
1. In your closet as you get dressed
2. In a tract wallet or protector
3. In your purse or briefcase
4. In your car pocket or over your visor
5. At your desk or place of work
6. At your front door
7. In a tract display at Church or place of business
Twelve Ways Not to Use a Tract
1. When it
is almost certain it will become litter
2. In place of a generous tip
3. When it may needlessly offend a person
4. If the tract is messy and torn or not of the highest quality you
can afford
5. If the tract could be interpreted as a personal attack or is overly
negative
6. When you have been discredited by your behavior
7. As a substitute for caring about people
8. In any way that may harm the reputation of Christ or other Christians
9. If it does not contain the Gospel
10. If you haven’t first read it yourself
11. If you don’t like it and would not have a positive response
to it
12. Don’t wait to use tracts until you are perfect either –
it won’t happen!
